The refuge is a lovely place to visit- we had the small plates which were ok but not nearly as good as the last time we came. The prawns were mushy and tasteless, the salad nicoise had undercooked potatoes and the chicken was a bit bland and not crispy enough - to be honest, the best thing was the sourdough bread! Such a shame as it was a treat visiting family for a treat.

I've been meaning to go to Climat for ages, since I read some rather fabulous reviews a couple of years ago, and finally managed to get my act together to get a booking for a special birthday celebration. Fantastic meal - more than lived up to the height with each plate being as exciting and delicious as the last. Lovely service - polite and very friendly without being fussy at all - and the atmosphere was perfect - it's a beautiful room with lovely views, and the food is serious cooking, but it's warm and friendly rather than rarified and formal. A very lovely way to spend an afternoon.

The food was really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the service was great.
