Seit 1973 gibt es das Le Vallauris im Herzen von Palm Springs am Fuße der San Jacinto Mountains und ist seitdem eines der am besten bewerteten Restaurants im Palm Springs Valley. Der bekannte Gastronom Paul Bruggemans ist sein Besitzer und Betreiber, er war auch Besitzer des berühmten Le St Germain Restaurant in Hollywood. Das historische Wahrzeichen wurde 1927 erbaut und gehörte dem Eigentümer des berühmten Desert Inn, das Hotel im Valley. In dem Haus wurden viele große Partys gefeiert mit Gästen wie Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong. Auch General Patton war gern zu Besuch, als er in Palm Springs stationiert war, um im Zweiten Weltkrieg die Battle of the Bulge zu planen. Später, als das Restaurant eingerichtet war, wurde es einem beliebten Ort für Präsidenten und Hollywoods Elite. Der berühmte Innenhof, gesäumt von riesigen Ficus-Bäumen, ist der perfekte Ort zum Speisen. Die Terrasse wird im Sommer gekühlt und im Winter beheizt.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, vor allem im patio ist es sehr romantisch und angenehm gestaltet. Auch können große Gruppen von 10 Personen an einem Tisch sein . Das Essen ist ok aber nicht überragend. Die French onion Suppe war mit stärke gebunden ! Die Ente war saftig aber die Beilagen waren zu roh und die Kartoffeln nicht zu essen! Der Kellner war das Beste, freundlich , schnell und den Gästen zugewandt.
