While the card decks and kerb servers are all but gone, the building’s colourful history remains pinned to every wall. We had the Christmas set menu for Christmas Eve and it was just delicious. We started with some Camembert baked cheese , salad and steak with mushroom sauce that was excellent. We finished the meal with some brownie and ice cream. We were super happy with our meal , highly recommend.

From the moment you arrive, the experience is first class. The staff are welcoming and polite, making you feel like 'an old friend' (without being intrusive). The decor is understated and elegant - a perfect combination for a 'special occasion'. The food is NEXT LEVEL. Our experience at Montrachet was without doubt the BEST dining experience we have encountered in Australia. Montrachet could compare favourably to the best in Paris. We are incredibly fortunate to have this dining experience in Brisbane. There are many French restaurants in this town that are French in name only. Montrachet however, is French in every sense of the word - elegant, traditional, classy - an experience to savour.

Our first experience eating at The Green was wonderful. First we were very late but we were assured there would be a table for us. We ordered the set menu for 4 and enjoyed every dish. The eggplant tart tatin was especially delicious.
