Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Excellent as always. They really look after you and the food is excellent. My wife has a dairy and egg allergy which we let them know about in advance and they did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Very much appreciated and of course we’ll be back.

Well everything was great until we had a load of loud customers come and sit next to us - we were having a date night and had not seen each other for several days. Can’t be helped …but sitting next to a Christmas party is never fun! ( but it pays the bills for the restaurant- everything else was as wonderful as ever!

We met some friends here for a get together they had their did with them so we were sat in the bottom bar super friendly atmosphere lovely and cozy with the fire on New menu food was delicious and Mike and his staff made us feel very welcome 👍

Clean and tidy bar area which is where we sat (high table) friendly staff and tasty Sunday roast with delicious extra yorkshires.
