Tolle Restaurants in Mandeville

It was nice for a local dining spot. We stopped by for dinner after a long day of running around.

Third time dining here, this time as a party/dinner for my office. The food, staff, and ambience were perfect. The only thing missing disagree with is the credit card surcharge they tack onto your bill, which I do not recall being done when we dined there in September. I own a small business, and credit card fees are a cost of doing business. It should be included in the cost calculations for the price of the food being served (because hardly anyone pays cash any longer) instead of being tacked onto the bill afterwards. This is why I took one star away from my ratings of VALUE.

The Papillion salad and special spinach salad were wonderful. The duck confit was one of the best I’ve had. The shrimp scampi was good, but at $35 for five shrimp over pasta, it earned the low rating for value. Our server, Savannah, was extremely nice and greatly attentive. The manager stopped by to say hello. A nice touch. Overall, a beautiful experience. I do wonder if in the future the menu might include different seafood dishes. We’d be more tempted to return if there were more seafood choices.

A consistent, good experience for high tea. A Christmastime tradition for my wife and I to drive to the northshore for a quick midday getaway. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! The food is so delicious and the people that work here are so outgoing and very nice!!
