The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Fantastic restaurant, amazing food, lovely drinks choices for alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, myself and my friend shared the platter and it was absolutely delicious! We were full afterwards too! Dry ice was a lot of fun and added to the whole dinner effect! Will definitely be returning - definitely a place to visit!! Highly recommend!

Another enjoyable lunch with great attention to detail. Super confit ducks leg in a smooth pumpkin sauce, and toothsome desserts [ultrasmooth chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding]. Washed down with beautifully kept Rebellion's Roasted Nuts. Well worth the journey.

Went in to have some food and watch the American Football. Was a really good atmosphere, and wasn’t what I was expecting. Recently moved to the Uxbridge area so this is defo a great pub for me to go to from now on. Has lots of TVs so great for anyone wanting to watch the sport!
