FKABAM is a place for fun. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. Tables are close together, and the atmosphere is loud and vibrant. Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. For parties larger than this, please email info@blackaxemangal.comWe keep a few spaces free for walk-ins as first come first served.We serve an A La Carte menu which is published on our Instagram @fkablackaxemangal. A secretive unmarked door in Drunch on Great Titchfield Street opens onto one of the Capital’s most enticing hidden spaces. Descending the stairs the basement opens out into one large cave with vaulted ceiling, a bar and DJ desk as well as two smaller caves tucked away under separate arches. The decor expertly juxtapositions the raw 200 year old brickwork with a modern contemporary design and luxurious fixture and furniture. The atmosphere is intimate before the night time crowd come in and your table is moved. The venue is quite small so it can be difficult to find space. The food was great, although the menu given on the night was reduced from what you see on the online menu. Shaya helped with my booking and was very helpful and pleasant to liaise with.

Spectacular brunch, four of us sharing. Wanted everything - ended up having several things twice. Vietnamese eggs splendid, the breadMac (“Return of the Mac”) a work of genius and the banana ‘pancake’ banging. Thanks so much!

Love the concept of Next Door Records and it really didn’t disappoint. There’s a fun and friendly vibe and the grapefruit margaritas are delicious!
