The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Third time visiting Reis and it never fails to provide the best ambience for a wonderfully social evening. Food and staff are exceptional. Nothing too much trouble. Shame the dancing space isn’t a little bit bigger but apart from that would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

I've always liked this place. It just missed the mark a little for me this time. The calamari was very very chewy. The Tuna Niçoise Salad was OK.
