When we started out in 2017, we were cheffing up from the courtesy of our home in Portsmouth. It was all great fun and games until customers started showing up to our house for food collections… From there, we took a leap of faith, and a few box meals later, we had our very own market stall on Commercial Road. This was big for us. It was the first time we could connect with the community on a 1:1 basis and actually see customers fall in love after that first bite. Naturally, the food did it’s job, and as word spread, our small gazebo became a local sensation, bringing people together over plates of smoky and spicy delights.Spicing Up the CommunitySince 2017, our "fambily" has been serving up a modern twist on Jamaican cuisine and the community has been our rock. With the help of many within the local community we have managed to gather a fond following from the residents of Bursledon and the surrounding areas of Locks Heath, Warsash, Whitely, Hedge End and Hamble. In 2017 we went through a large scale refurbishment and rebranded ourselves as Little Canton. As a restaurant and takeaway with a delivery service and, uniquely, a dance floor and disco on weekends, we have always been perfectly placed to reach our customers at various junctures of their daily lives. Lovely local Italian with a good menu and specials of the day. Easily missed on the menu is the charcoal grilled veal, which was amazing.

This is a vibrant busy eatery so if you like it quiet then it’s not for you! The staff are great….always smiling and helpful. We went on a Friday night and people were queuing out the door waiting for tables so prebooking is definitely recommended. The food is spicy as you would expect so if you want your fries with less spice then ask for the BBQ sauce to be left off. Overall a good taste of Jamaica…..just wish we had the sunshine to go with it!!

The fish soup was great unfortunately the steak was not good half of it was rare and half was medium it all should have been medium rare. It was taken off the bill but I would have preferred a perfectly cooked steak. Pistachio soufflé was as good as it always is but the crumble lacked crumble on top and there was not enough custard Service was very good. Overall it was a shame the food wasn’t great today.
