A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. the food was delicious but the service was a bit chaotic with certain items (drinks, cutlery, dietry requirements etc) being forgotten. this may of been due to the fact that they are just so busy. in the end we had a lovely night out and put the issues down to normal issues of eating out on a friday night in Melbourne, Rye.

A very pleasent pub meal with a great view of the bay. Kitchen was accommodating of special requests. The seafood linguini was to die for and my steak was tender and well presented. Overall an enjoyable family venue for a meal.

A little gem of a place to eat and relax. Staff are amazing and food just lovely. The Open Table booking service let us down. The staff managed this beautifully.

I ordered the Eggs Benny that came with pulled pork. Interesting combination. I did not enjoy it at all. The bread was hard to cut, there was way too much pulled pork and just a drizzle of the hollandaise sauce. Disappointing considering it cost $27. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
