Welcome to the Kings Head in Coltishall! We are a traditional village pub located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. We pride ourselves on our warm atmosphere and classic British pub food. At the Kings Head, you'll find a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits at the bar. Our menu features pub classics like fish and chips as, as well as daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients. We also have a fantastic A la carte menue & On Sundays, we serve a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings. The pub has plenty of seating in our main bar area, restaurant and beer garden so you can always find a spot. We're located right in the village just a short walk from the River Bure. The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Now owned and run by Wursty Four Biers Ltd the new owners hope to take this fantastic venue to new heights and enhance the service style and offer. Sincerely not to be missed!

A nicely revamped pub/restaurant, higher end prices for food which was not very good. Of the four meals ordered one as great (steak & kidney suet pudding) The others poor, Hake was over crumbed and dry, casserole was dry with dumplings like bullets. The deserts were the saving grace in a meal which was overall underwhelming. Bar staff very pleasant and helpful. Table waitress had no finesse and rather abrupt. It’s a shame the management don’t seem to be able to keep regular staff, maybe the problems lie there!!

The Kings Head is a friendly local pub with excellent food - the Sunday Roast is so good, we rarely cook at home now. It’s a weekly treat!
