First visit to Michael’s WAN’s restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant was beautiful and it was very busy. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed it.

We reserved a table online for Sunday Lunch for 2 at The Imperial Hotel. Restaurant was very quiet and we had a lovely table overlooking the seafront. Service from the waiting staff was attentive and helpful. The roast dinner was lovely, with a choice of beef or pork and all the accompaniments. Sadly the dessert somewhat let the experience down. It is advertised as a "two course sumptuous menu with a complimentary salad bar and a beautiful dessert buffet". The complimentary salad bar was very understocked and underwhelming and the dessert buffet consisted of 3 dinner plates with a very small selection of cupcakes and brownies. If the dessert options had lived up to expectations it would be a much bigger score.

The Allotment is a great place for vegan food. I'd really recommend the tapas deal, we shared 5 small plates and they were all delicious. It's a lovely atmosphere and the service is excellent. An oasis of calm amid the noise and bustle of the Christmas markets!

An excellent dining experience ! We have a Christmas dinner here every year, and it's so consistent. There are a few choices on the menu but we always opt for the traditional Christmas fayre - Prawn cocktail was served in a lovely sauce with crunchy bits, delicious, followed by an unusual Turkey Balloutine, really tasty with all the trimmings, nice cranberry sauce too ! Finished off with Christmas pud, sauce & ice cream , very yummy ! With our glass of white wine followed by a bottle of red, it was the perfect meal. Portions were just the right size, well cooked and presented with style. A lovely atmosphere and ambience, beautiful decorations, everyone happily chatting around you and enjoying themselves. Much credit to the staff who served us - smiling, chatty but still in their professional mode, nothing rushed, the right timings between courses, service was impeccable, in fact - Everything was PERFECT !! As soon as we walked in we was welcomed by the lovely staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The customer service was 10/10. The food was delicious! It was quickly made and was served at the perfect temperature. It was the most loveliest experience we both have ever had when eating out. I would highly recommend :)
