Die besten Restaurants für ein Sonntagsessen in Noe Valley

Among the many Italian options on Chestnut Street this often gets overlooked - we had not been in years and went with a group of six and will be back soon! We had a variety of starters and entrees and each dish was excellent. The whole roasted fish was a standout and the pastas were all fresh and flavorful. Service was very friendly and warm. Hopefully more diners will give it a try!

Unexpectedly great! Firstly, the interior was very nice, more upscale than I expected. I was used to the hole in the wall Burmese place near my house. Secondly, the food was delicious! My favorites were the tea leaf salad and the scallops that came with a divine sauce. Thirdly, it was across the street from a parking structure and was only a block away from Davies Symphony Hall where we were scheduled to go. This will be the restaurant to go to before shows.

Dining today at Choquette's was just like being in a Paris cafe. OO LA LA! It's a chilly SF Day so we opted for the French Onion Soup - OMG deeelicous. Paid for bread and great butter and shared a lovely butter lettuce salad Ala French vinaigrette. All wonderful BUT they could have put a bit more dressing on the great fresh butter lettuce leaves and I could have requested more but didn't. All in all - we'll return soon.

It was my second time at Bella Trattoria. First time lunch, second time dinner. I loved the ambiance at dinner; an intimate, neighborhood joint with really good food and attentive service. They had a delicious gluten free gnocchi and a wonderful lentil soup (the croutons are not gf). And delicious cocktails. Definitely a great evening out without spending a fortune.

Great food for the price. Nice ambiance. Perfect!
