Reservations are strongly recommended. Our full service bar has 14 seats and accommodates walk-in's on a first come, first served basis. While there is no dress code at Sorella, we encourage guests to dress smart casual. The music volume in the restaurant is loud with a lively vibe. We have a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals before your reservation will be canceled. No shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours will be subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee. You are beholden to your party size, your party size (unless circumstances allow) cannot be adjusted. We ask that you do not make multiple reservations with the intent to be seated together. We do our best to accommodate all guests in a timely manner, please be mindful of your dining time with us. Reservations are available 42 days in advance at 12:00am PST. Welcome to the Steam Plant Restaurant and Brew Pub! This historical building actually functioned as a steam plant between 1916 and 1986, when the last boiler was shut down in December of that year.Then years later, the old plant was transformed from a dirty, drab industrial behemoth into a cathedral-bright architectural showcase becoming a functional commercial space while maintaining as much history and equipment as possible within the rigid guidelines of historic renovation. Fortunately, the iconic twin stacks continue to lend a uniqueness to the Spokane skyline. Since reopening in November 2021, the Steam Plant has partnered with Grain Shed Brewing whose beers are made with regionally sourced ingredients. The bar and dinner menus have been updated to showcase local favorites. Busy night, they had a Gonzaga basketball game scheduled across the street at the Arena, so the place was packed at 5:00 pm. Our waiter, Greg, was working hard to make it all happen, and took special requests without skipping a beat. Meal service was just a bit slow, but expected due to rush of the amount of people that were there. Food was good. We had Fish and Chips, subbing out a salad for the fries, and the Chop House Burger.

Sorella was perfect! The food, the ambience, and the service went above and beyond our expectations! We had the fish of the day, guanciale pasta, bolognese, affogato and espresso service at the end of our meal. The wine list was exceptional! I highly recommend Sorella as one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane!

We had the most wonderful server, Elias, a Gonzaga University graduate. The Igloo was warm, cozy, with blankets and heaters. The experience was a great way to celebrate with friends on Christmas.

We had an absolutely lovely Christmas Eve dinner at Churchill’s. We were able to sit in their lounge downstairs(as requested). Our table was perfect. They’ve created such a cozy, inviting atmosphere-it feels like a hug. As always, everything was spot on-from the excellent cocktails, to the buttery, melt in your mouth steaks! I’m not sure it would’ve been possible to have a more excellently prepared piece of meat! All of this is only elevated further by their lovely, attentive staff(thank you, Isabel!). Looking forward to our next visit!
