Great venue, good service and excellent choice of delicious foods. Lovely to see the use of local products

The restaurant was beautifully decorated. We had great service and the food was lovely. They even had a cake with a fire work candle and sang happy birthday to me it was so special. And a card from the staff. My friends and I were delighted with everything and will definitely return.

Highly recommend. Excellent welcome on arrival, wine and food totally top notch. Service was excellent, and you must try the cocktail desserts, strawberry n cream was the perfect finishing item.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch for three here and will definitely be coming back to try the regular menu. Nice roast beef and special mention for the puddings - we tried three between us and they were all delicious. We were made to feel very welcome, and the local beer was great too. We had to leave too quickly - I'd have happly settled in for the afternoon.

Lovely pub and staff, unfortunately the£24 steak meal for one of our party was so fatty she couldn’t cut it. We were offered a replacement but as is always the case, you end up eating alone when it eventually arrives so we asked for it to be removed from the bill. Shame really
