Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. We do Charlie Gitto's every Christmas Eve...late seating. This year the knocked out of of the park. Wine Steward have excellent advice for our tastes and the Filet Nunzio was simply the best... with the added sautéed mushrooms. Service was friendly and attentive and having fun on Christmas Eve. A real treat.

Food was excellent and service of high quality. People seated after us were served before we were, which was strange. Perhaps it was because there were 6 of us and only two of them. But it was the same waiter who facilitated that timing. I found that annoying but his efforts on other fronts was very good.
