Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. Carlton wine room is a well oiled machine. A genuine effort to make the dining experience special but still remain approachable and keeping the vibe. Took my partner there last night for her birthday and it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a few years. Well done guys, we’ll be back!

Great dinner. Was there for the date night deal which was fantastic. Service is outstatnding and the food is delicious. Great vibe and seating. Fan of Morgan Bakehouse and now Maven too. Will be back especially for the Tiramisu!

The food and cocktails were standout, there wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy (and we tried 3/4 of the menu!). The kingfish and chicken pâté were our favourites, and the oysters were really fresh and zingy. The service was efficient and friendly, and our food came out quickly. We agreed that next time we would choose a table in the bar over the main seating areas, as the converted ‘cells’ don’t get a lot of natural light. However, if you’re looking for something cozy and intimate these rooms certainly fit the brief!
