In 1688, Joseph Haviland built a tidewater gristmill that provided the locally-grown grains to a nearby bakery that supplied farmers and tradesmen with bread. It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries. Inspired by Joseph Haviland’s noble efforts, the Haviland Kitchen & Bar has been established for our neighbors. Aura is a wonderful addition to the Long beach Barrier Island. The food is quite good , the service is attentive and friendly. On the night I was there, Wednesday 11/27/24 the music at the bar was great but to loud for dining and talking comfortably. BUT !!! I will definitely be back 3rd time last night and really enjoy the restautrant

We had a wonderful experience on a Monday night. The service was very attentive, and our server was familiar with every menu item. She made the best recommendations for wines to accompany our meals. Dinner here was much more than just out to dinner, it truly was a dining experience! We will definitely be back

Grotto never disappoints. I find the food great; something for everyone. Cocktail choices very acceptable and reasonable priced. The pizza is the best of the best. Total bill I find very moderate for what we had. We had a small pizza as an appetizer and a shrimp main course and a main course pasta and three alcoholic drinks and one soft drink. A little noisy but a wonderful dinner

Incredible experience from beginning to end. From the friendly and attentive staff to the unique bar creations and the delicious fare. This is the second of many trips to Felicia’s. Looking forward to trying brunch. Bravo for getting everything right!!
