Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. The buzz was great, service was attentive and prompt. The only shame was the ribs for everyone at our table (8people) were dry, which given its a bbq niche place was surprising.

We we visited on my wife’s birthday on the 23rd of December. The food was outstanding and the service provided by Elliot was first class. A very hospitable host who made the occasion very special thank you for nice afternoon.
