Visited Bath for Valentine's Day and The Square Brassiere and Piano Bar was our post Valentine's evening venue. We were booked in for 7:30pm and expected to be there for a couple of hours or so. From the moment we entered the premises we felt we were special. The staff were polite and attentive, the venue was welcoming and nicely laid out and the pianist was fun and accommodating regarding requests. We had the set Valentine's menu, none of which disappointed, delivering a variety of choices within it's framework. We had a great evening, eventually leaving at closing time. Cannot fault it. From lovely, warm and friendly service to amazing food. Highly recommend it.

We had the cheese and bacon burger, which was very good and filling. The Apple and rhubarb crumble was lovely.

It is always a pleasure to revisit The Old Swan, a pub with so much history. We sat in one of the front rooms, pleasant but now rather shabby. Our Sunday roast was good though a bit overcooked for medium rare. Treacle tart delicious. Service slow but all told a good outing.
