Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Located at the heart of Tuscany, it has a history of exporting mouth-watering wines to England, having been possibly the very first to bring Chianti here in 1725. The menu features true Tuscan cuisine, with many of the ingredients being imported especially from the Villa and surrounding farms. 'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. Service zunächst gut. Zum Dessert hin aber sehr lange Wartezeit bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Hoffentlich ein Einzelfall. Ansonsten gut und schmackhaft.

Wir haben das Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und waren begeistert von der Stimmung und Atmosphäre. Super zuvorkommendes Personal, dass gleich zu Beginn nach Unverträglichkeiten und Allergien fragt. Essen top und der ServiceRoboter, einfach toll. Livemusik und tolle Cocktails. Beim nächsten London Trip kommen wir gern wieder.

Sehr authentisch! Das Essen ist von guter Qualität und reichlich. Service ist freundlich - leider war das Bier nach dem ersten Glas leer und man musste auf Wein umschwenken, was ich etwas unpassend fand. Das Ambiente ist wirklich einzigartig und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
