Die besten Restaurants mit Live-Musik in North Haven

Went to meet my longtime friend at Terrain in Westport Connecticut today. Upon entering, I thought I was walking into a terrarium of sorts. I didn’t even realize it was a restaurant.  walking past the beautiful decorations I saw lots of smiling faces; waiters and patrons.  I sat down and was offered a drink right away. The menu was clean and elegantly designed. I liked how it was not overwhelming, but still had a nice range of options. The prices were great considering how lavish the decor was. I don’t think there was anything over $30 But the average I would say was $15. My friend ordered the grilled cheese and I got a medium well burger with aïoli dressing, bacon on top and a side of fries. I was really impressed with the quality of the meat combined with the juiciness of the burger. You never know what you’re gonna get when you Order medium well. The waiters were always on hand and ready to serve, but never gave us the feeling they were trying to rush us out. But we were there after the lunch rush so I don’t know what it’s like during the busiest times. Couple of lattes and we were ready to go. Was excited to explore the other areas of the place. I felt like I was at the botanical gardens with a restaurant growing out of it. It would be a great place to eat when the weather would allow outdoor seating.  Besides our kind waitress, a hostess by the name of Teresa, came by to check on us. She appeared to be a nature-loving enthusiast with an artistic bent. She turned me on to a Portuguese author whom I’m interested in reading. Overall, my friend and I had a great time and now planning on returning the last Thursday of this month. There’s a lot more to experience there not only in food, but in shopping. I could easily drop $1000 at the store, considering all the unique things on display. Brunch was very good. Large portions, great presentation. Only thing off was where we were seated by hostess. The place wasn’t busy, and they had all tables immediately next to one another so conversations were a bit awkward.

Came here for my husbands birthday and was so impressed. We don’t get out often, but im so happy we came. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, staff was warm and welcoming, food was wonderful! They even had a pianist playing music and singing which was a really nice touch. He played everything from Billy Joel to Elton John to Frank Sinatra. He even started off with “fly me to the moon” which ironically was our wedding song. It was tasteful and classy, not disruptive. The wait staff was attentive and our glasses never got near empty. The atmosphere was so relaxing. We were able to have a conversation. We started with the eggplant tower which was amazing, and they even brought us a complementary bruschetta app while we waited. I had the jumbo shrimp and scallop dinner, which was wonderful. My husband has the surf and turf, which he thought was tasty and well done. I also think for the ambiance and the food quality as well as the service, the price was also fair. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to coming back whenever we have the chance to get a night out again!

When we arrived, it wasn't busy at all so we were able to select a table by a picture window and glorious view. As we sat enjoying our goodies, the place became full and despite the many tables, our server was always cheerful, accommodating, and respectful. No long wait as our food arrived shortly after ordering and was thoroughly enjoyed as we shared tasty appetizers (hummus plate and brussel sprouts plate), a delightful special for the day (beef stew), and a delicious salad (pecan and goat cheese). We ended on a sweet note by enjoying a yummy dish of freshly made cookies (chocolate chocolate chip) that were still warm and gooey! A lovely experience all around and would definitely return when in the area. Thank you 1741 for a delightfully delicious evening. Truly a treat!
