Stunningly styled, the Sawadika dining room is well suited to special occasions and business dining as well as the more casual evening meal of lunchtime treat. With white washed brick, contemporary oblong chandeliers, shimmering tiles and Thai arts and crafts – including two huge golden Buddha statues welcoming guests as they arrive – the old-meets-new interior could be straight out of any high end Bangkok hotel. The extensive menus, including a full a la carte dinner menu and an affordable set lunch, offers a wide range of all-authentic Thai food made to traditional recipes passed down through families and freshly made to order using all fresh, natural ingredients.

We had to wait a long time to place our order. There was plenty of staff and it was not full when our party arrived. Nonetheless, the food was tasty and plentiful. The mocktails were delicious and I was informed the wines were nice too. Overall, a good meal.
