Nestled into the corner of Spitalfields, we have recently re-branded as a small plates bar, cafe & restaurant, serving up wonderful seasonal plates made with the freshest ingredients, cakes & pastries. All alongside an extensive range of British & Belgian beer, self-imported French wine, Andronica's marvellous coffee & tasty cocktails. Our bar is the product of over 20 years’ work by couple Kay and Peter Sinden, who have now passed on the daily running of the place to their own children. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there).
