The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. Christmas wouldn't be the same without a lunch at the Ivy! the food is exceptional especially the festive menu and the staff as always are exceptional and go over and above to make sure everything is perfect as it can be....obviously a big fan and always will be Thanks to everyone for making a special occasion that little extra special...

Such a wonderful evening with good friends. The welcome on a cold night was warm and friendly as usual. The food was amazing and wine really good. My favourite restaurant in Norwich.

Had great service from Ed, who dealt with our drinks and our food. The ambience in the restaurant itself was lovely and mellow. The food was amazing and the price was exactly what you’d expect. Will definitely be back
