A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

Prosciutto Bros. is a warehouse factory converted into a Craft Bar, a big red brick building in the industrial area of Eltham, frequented by locals who love an icy craft beer, with 20 Craft Beer taps and a great wine list to match. Prosciutto Bros menu is designed for sharing, very home-style Italian, featuring imported smoked, salted, preserved and cooked meats and cheeses showcased on display in our deli window, served as antipasti platters, charcuterie and cheese boards. The food and service was exceptional. It was a little crowded as many patrons were going to a show and needed to be served promptly. Next time we will book a table at 7 rather than at 6.

We all had a lovely day at Sir Henry Barkley for our Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, entree, main course and then sweets. We all came away feeling very full. A little noisy but a great day nether the less.

My friend and I both ordered the chicken satay sticks with two serves of steamed rice. The chicken was hot and tasty but I found the rice a little dry. I think it may have been reheated. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
