The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. The Legh arms food and service is exceptional. Make sure you book in advance to avoid being disappointed. I would recommend anyone to give the Legh arms a try. We will definitely be back again very soon.

A pre Christmas catch up with friends at the Travellers did not disappoint. The pub was warm & welcoming with fantastic service and we enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast - the portions were so big we couldn’t fit in dessert (this time !) Would definitely recommend & will be back soon

Lovely Sunday lunch, fresh vegetables, tasty roast beef which was very tender. Great that the landlord came over to each table and took the order and checked everything ok, a great personal touch.
