An excellent evening at Normans. We are regulars there and it’s great to see the menu changes that happen all the time. The food is always delicious and I love the small plates approach, it means you get to taste so many more dishes.

Excellent evening, food was superb, staff very attentive, didn’t feel rushed at all, the whole experience from start to finish was wonderful! Definitely returning and highly recommended!

My partner and I came here for his birthday and we were very pleased with the food, but mostly the service. I had asked them if it was possible to store a birthday cake (context: my partner and I have used the caterpillar cakes as our bday cake every year) to surprise my partner , and they happily approved the request. Fabulous place, staff were brilliant, food choice great, quality and taste with superb, drink selection wide. Restaurant was nice, great aumbience. Price was reflective of the quality of food / service. You will lot be disappointed.

A wonderful meal in a wonderful location. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Service was impeccable. Food was excellent and really good value for money. The pork loin was cooked to perfection and the black pudding was some of the best I've ever tasted. The potato rosti has gone into the top 3 potato dishes I've ever eaten - absolutely sublime. It was our first time here and it certainly won't be out last - an amazing hidden gem just outside Halifax.
