Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food. Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     We have visited several times, including twice in the last ten days. We had the taster menu last week, and every course was delicious. We had Sunday lunch yesterday, and, although the restaurant was incredibly busy, the food was as outstanding as ever - my ox cheek suet pudding was superb! - and the service was impeccable. The young waiters / waitresses were efficient, attentive and friendly - well done! Everybody at The Rum Fox is to be congratulated on what they have achieved, and we look forward to many future vivits.

    2nd time we have been for lunch and it was exceptional each time. Definitely our kind of dining, everything about ‘Eight’ is superb. The food is fresh, tasteful and so very well presented. There definitely will be more than a 3rd visit for us! Added bonus is looking at the beautiful animals

    Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%
