There can be no better local dining experience.The Brasserie is located on the ground floor and seats around 30 diners. It serves Breakfast (8:00 to 10:00) every day, Dinner (17:00 - 20:30 Last Orders) Wed - Sun, and Lunch (12 noon - 15:30) Saturday and Sunday. Our menus focus on home made dishes, using tasty, fresh produce from artisan suppliers. We're happy to accomodate any dietary requirements and preferences. Back after more than a two year closure following the George IV Bridge in late 2021, Merchants has undergone a full refurbishment. Merchants serves Scottish cuisine in one of the most bustling areas of Edinburgh. Braised shin of beef, haggis and seared seabass are some of the dishes on an ever-changing menu, and the restaurant is happy to try and cater for any specific dietary requirements. Situated at 17 Merchant Street, Merchants Restaurant is proud to use fresh, locally sourced produce in its dishes.
