Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. We got the Arancini for a starter and it was amazing. So tasty. My fiancé got the burger as a main, and he said he really enjoyed it. I got tiger prawns and it was so tasty, perfect amount of food. Wine on tap was delicious and an amazing deal! Will be back

Everything was wonderful! Food and drinks were very unique. Beautiful place and loved the fact that music was not loud as it seems to be the case in most places these days. One tiny issue I had was how long cocktails took to get ready which discouraged us to order a second drink.

I had an amazing dining experience at El Catrin. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Mason, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Thank you for the beer in house draft beer suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious – everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the Baha Taco– it was a standout! Overall, a wonderful place for a meal, whether it’s a special occasion or just a casual outing. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you for the great experience!
