Drunch Regent’s Park is a restaurant-style eatery and bar situated close to the heart of St John’s Wood, which serves brunch from 11am - 16:30pm and a la carte from 16:30pm - 22:30pm. Regionally inclined Punjabi cuisine is the main draw at this incongruously located Indian (one of eight branches worldwide), pitched beneath a vast block of flats. Having undergone a major refurbishment, the restaurant has emerged with a polished bar area decked out in dark walnut, while the dining room has been brightened up with cream walls, rich gold fabrics and statement glass chandeliers giving off a warm glow. Dishes on the revamped menu are absolutely faultless – witness crisp shreds of okra fried in the lightest of batters, perfect mouthfuls of tandoor-grilled chicken tikka, and juicy jumbo prawns expertly roasted in a clay oven. Regional specialities, such as nalli gosht (slow-cooked lamb shank and saffron curry, from the city of Lucknow) also delight, although prices are firmly attuned to the luxurious postcode.

Since 1967, diners at the Tiroler Hut have enjoyed hearty Austrian-fare accompanied by live music in this cosy, cult basement restaurant.Your host, the octogenarian Josef, opened the Hut and is still at the helm with his family alongside him, so you can expect a homely, Austrian enclave under bustling Westbourne Grove complete with cheese fondue, schnitzel, ice-cold beer, and, yes, the odd yodelling session. Or cowbell show. Or accordion rendition of 'Do-Re-Mi'. Probably all of them, truth be told.It's a very good place for a night out (and late night food) and even better when enjoyed with friends and family; in the words of the late, great A. A. Gill, "go now - take all your friends."

We were served by two incredibly helpful, efficient and friendly waitresses who looked after us attentively throughout our meal. The food was delicious and very well priced. They make a mean mojito as well!

An amazing culinary journey led single-handedly by an amazing chef and Martina explaining the ingredients, concept & process behind each dish. The langoustine were incredible and so were the cod and Irish beef. My friend liked the “bacon jam” amuse bouche (so did I). I usually do not eat desserts but the chocolate bar and Mont Blanc were incredible. Sauces are exquisite especially the dill/pickled sauce with the cod and the use of Japanese rice for the langoustine dish. I will be back. It’s basically a chef’s table experience as the restaurant has only a few tables. 10/10 and thank you Richard for sharing your passion.
