We came for a birthday celebration and as always food was excellent and staff very attentive. And the pickle back is a must!!

The prawn entree was one of the best, if not the best seafood dishes I have eaten, I embarrassingly asked for some bread to mop up the sauce, and was informed that everyone asks for bread! The staff were great, friendly and well organised, meal timing was perfect from entree to mains. Good choice of wine by the glass or bottle. Definitely going back real soon!

Barkly was a great location for a reunion of friends living in various parts of the local area. The team members were friendly and there was a good range of offerings on the menu. The venue was clean, cool and airy; perfect for a summer afternoon. One diner who ordered the chicken schnitzel was disappointed by the tiny amount of salad, although the schnitzel was a generous serve and took up most of the plate. Otherwise we were satisfied overall with our experience.

Great local restaurant. Extensive menu. Off street parking a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed the night out.
