We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. Bata is hands-down our favorite restaurant in Tucson. There is nowhere else in town that is as creative with their menu as the team at Bata, and they do it using local suppliers and farmers. The menu is always an adventure and the entire staff is professional, talented and kind.

Our late lunch on Christmas Eve was delicious- the waitstaff was cheerful, friendly and apologetic when the dessert that we came in for was ‘sold out’ - (the squash pie) which was very disappointing especially in a holiday eve! -though understandable ☮️
