Market Place Kitchen and Bar has a full-service banquet with modern business facilities for corporate events and meetings. Alex Lowe, the executive chef, has prepared a healthy menu for guests in Market Place Kitchen and Bar. Surf and turf is the specialty meal here. It is prepared with pork belly meat braised in duck fat for four hours. It is served with apple marmalade, caramelized scallops and house made kale chips. We all had the Halibut with celery root puree & haricot vert. It was absolutely delicious. Dinnertime (on a Monday) was much quieter than lunchtime so it was nice that it wasn't too loud. Also they didn't rush us out. We lingered & chatted even after we paid the bill. Much enjoyed.

I hoped the experience for a birthday for a party of two would have been provided not at a bar table, the noise so very loud we had to text each other to converse. I pointed to the items on the menu after 3 many attempts for the waiter to understand and crowd was way too many stsnding in the aisle and staff could not pass, just not a great spot for intimate party of 2 for a personal birthday dinner. I was truly impressed when I announced my name the hostess said ah yes for the birthday. thank you

Great restaurant, location, views, ambiance, service and food. Looking forward to going back soon. Everything was delicious and fresh and sticky toffee pudding was out of this world.
