Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton. The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring. Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. Dogs are welcome too. Hidcote Brasserie & Grill is a little more sedentary, romantic even, and is located in a beautiful high ceilinged Regency room. The same menu is served in both spaces for dinner.The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers a wide range of wines by the glass, as well as an enviable Gin selection. A cocktail list is also on offer, with a choice of classics or something new to try.

We pride in producing the finest burgers using local ingredients. Check out Flipside Labs, where our burger nerds try something different and interesting.Aside from burgers, we have a great wines and all our cocktails are made fresh (none of this pre-made mix nonsense). We have a wide selection of bottled beers, ales, prosecco and ciders, include non-alcoholic Peroni & Beavertown Laser Crush.Our restaurant seats 28 people inside and a further 20 outside in our lovely sun-trap garden. Wonderful evening. Atmosphere very pleasant. The lady that served us looked after us so well, and was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was amazing. Thank you for such a lovely evening

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰
