The hotels 140 seat signature restaurant, The Beachside, focuses on delicious, locally sourced ingredients. The Beachside Restaurant enjoys a relaxed ambiance where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner complemented by beautiful decor and impeccable service. We went for the Friday Chippy Tea. Our food was fabulous. Perfect pudding, delicious fish and amazing chips. The pudding came with an extra little pot of gravy, just what a northerner needs 😉 Couldn’t fault anything. We were however on a tab,e in an area farthest from the fire and were initially all on our own, so felt a bit away from the real body of the pub, but that wasn’t so bad. Service was very good, didn’t have to wait long, and staff were friendly, polite and courteous.

Our waiter - I’m sure he was called Frank, Scottish bloke was amazing, nothing too much trouble, very attentive nothing too much trouble. Food was fab great value - kids loved it too. My only slight complaint would be that it was cold in the room, but I also appreciate how cold the current weather is and such a huge building to heat. Will be back

We had a fabulous meal here today. There was 8 friends who like to eat out on a regular basis. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I definitely recommend the beef steak. I tried the cauliflower starter to try something different and it was so tasty. Everything was perfect, the food, staff everything. We loved the pianist who made our afternoon very pleasant. We would recommend the white tower to anyone.
