A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Decision was mine to have dinner for 4 at Café Touché. It was a Tuesday evening so it wasn't real crowed and the noise level was very good for conversing. Food was very good and the service was excellent. This was our second time there and we will be back again. Our first time was a Friday night and to be honest it was very crowded and loud. I definitely preferred the Tuesday evening . Also on Tuesdays there is no corkage fee.

We had an awesome dinner! Staff that helped us with wine tasting was amazing. Our serving Lori was great! She made our night! She was so friendly and caring with a great personality! The food was delicious. Vodka gnocchi tasted awesome! The chocolate coconut moose desert was out of this world! Will be back again soon!

There were a few slip ups, but everything was rectified right away. The food was excellent. The service was good and the manager was fantastic. Definitely will be back soon.
