Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. All of the team working on the morning of 15th February 2025 were delightful, polite and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents). Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us.

I brought two friends here for lunch. Very friendly and attentive staff and the food was delicious, hot and fresh. Much appreciated on a cold January day. Good options of fish and a number of veggie options for non meat eaters.
