General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. First time being at Aleria and we initially thought it's a snack/dessert and drinks holiday themed place. But now that we know it's a restaurant, we will be definitely skip Christmas cooking and come to Aleria for a full lunch or dinner experience next year! All the drinks and the desserts we ordered were very yummy and the service was 20 out of 10!!!!! I loved the birthday surprise!

Such great Christmas vibes!! Absolutely loved it as a soon as we walked in. The hostess and host were very friendly and accommodating as well. Drinks were fun and festive! They have great little snacks and photo section too. Great place!

The best authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Parkdale. The best Mexican food outside of Mexico. Staff are excellent and the owner is fantastic.
