The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Another wonderful afternoon tea experience at The Assembly House. Great service, wonderful food and a great start to our Christmas celebrations. Thank you so much to all the staff who continue to deliver a wonderful experience in the most amazing building.

Our 2nd time dining at the Fur and Feathers. Absolutely brilliant food, can not fault anything at all. Dessert (sticky toffee pudding)was the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a trip.

Food was lovely. Shame they had run out of steak by 8pm. Staff were great and place was lovely. Tables were quite close in places but would go back.

Nice village pub, staff helpful and very pleasant and a good atmosphere. We had an enjoyable meal which turned out to be quite good value. Would recommend!
