Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. I’m a massive fish fan so this restaurant is perfect ! There is also a meat section on the menu and partner had fillet steak which he said was fantastic. The food and service is excellent and we will definitely be returning to Smiths, really enjoyed it.

We got the roast, the chicken one looked a bit anaemic but the beef was tasty. Live music playing which was a nice atmosphere. There were some dogs allowed in which didn’t bother us. Service was great in the beginning and then after we asked for the dessert menu, we never saw the server again .
