The Kings Arms lies deep in the heart of the East Devon countryside. We’re surrounded by wonderful local farmers and growers, and we aim to make the most of this by using locally-produced ingredients whenever possible. Our meat is sourced from our nearby family farm, and most of our fish is supplied by our very own fleet of fishing boats.Here at the Kings Arms, we serve a varied, locally-sourced menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all available in the bar, conservatory and outdoor terraces. As always great service and wonderful food at a very reasonable price. Given that it is 23rd December and the place was packed the staff were friendly, attentive and the service was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and nothing was too much trouble.

Such a lovely pub, warm welcoming atmosphere and great location for a family meal, additionally atmospheric in the festive season. The young staff were great and the food was delicious, were happy too, to provide something off menu for a fussy family member . Good location on edge of Sidford. Plenty of parking (and also some nice nearby riverside walks , if there in the daytime!) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to revisit again soon.

Lovely character Inn. Staff friendly, food gorgeous, room and bed comfy. Overall, a great stay marking our wedding anniversary at Christmas.

Visited the Balfour on Sunday with my wife and with my sister. We each opted for a starter, Sunday roast and a pudding and all three courses were absolutely outstanding. Never been here before but absolutely will come back again. Best roast I have had for years. Decent price, and really good, friendly atmosphere.
