Our starters were very large overall but could have done with a bit more toast with the pate. Main course was exception more than enough to satisfy the biggest appetite. Only the children had desert but there were clean plates so that too was a hit. Service was a little slow with clearing away empty glasses and bottles but overall very lovely time was had by all

Great Sunday dinner for 4 of us! We had the new spiced cauliflower soup, which was delicious, and an incredible Sunday roast. The featherblade beef was melt in your mouth, and all the trimmings were perfect. 2 of our party asked if there was an option to have 2 meats, which was happily done, and the lamb was also cooked to perfection. Very generous portions too! All the staff were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. This pub is a regular spot for us and never fails to impress. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast, meeting with friends. The Black Bull is also ideally located to go for a nice walk to work up an appetite, but due to the snow today we decided to just eat on this occasion! The cheesecake was also amazing! Will definitely return to sample the wider menu!
