We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews. Our overall experience was very good however we did have one entree that wasn't served as expected. It was the scallop and shrimp risotto. The manager did adjust the bill. So thank you for doing that.

Wonderful Christmas Eve experience at the Ruxton. We opted for a late lunch and were totally satisfied with the service, ambiance and (of course) the food. My filet was prepared exactly as requested and it was extremely tender and delicious. My wife’s salmon dish was equally satisfying. If you haven’t been to the Ruxton yet, you have to try it. You won’t be disappointed!

Fun girls’ holiday night out. 1/2 price wine on Monday! We shared salads and apps and everything was great. Paul was an excellent server. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Only downside - don’t sit at the window table when it is 20 degrees outside. 🥶❄️ That being said, it didn’t ruin our evening!

From the greeting at the door to our coats being retrieved for us at the end of the meal we enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. All courses were outstanding and the service was impeccable. We definitely will dine here again... outstanding in every way.
