Akahoshi Ramen is a humble ramen shop in the city of Chicago. Everything is made in the restaurant, including all soups, seasonings, toppings, and noodles. Service is always impeccable and quick. On this visit, we were provided a complimentary taste of an umeboshi digestif and a N/A Arnold Palmer-type digestif. That made this visit extra special. December special was especially delicious!

Overall, the best restaurant I’ve been to since moving to Chicago. The appetizers were phenomenal, the main courses felt a little short, but still we’re good . And I did notice that they forgot to give us our onion soup and sparkling water we ordered

Delicious food, beautifully prepared and presented. The cocktails and drinks offerings adventurous and interesting. Loved the Beet Kvass and the horseradish martini. Ambiance is fun and funky, loved the Ukrainian fabric touches. Great for smaller dinner parties or couples.
