Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Its chefs are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and its bar staff creates innovative cocktails and serves a range of wines by the glass and draught beers, as well. Helen eröffnete ein paar Jahre später ein Restaurant mit Speisen zum Mitnehmen in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, woraufhin sich ihre Popularität explosionsartig steigerte. 1977 verlegte Ernie Vallozzi das Lokal seiner Mutter nach Greensburg, wo es bis heute betrieben wird. 2012 dehnte Ernies Sohn Julian die Tradition in der Innenstadt von Pittsburgh aus.

Every time I come to Pittsburgh, this is must on my list of places to eat. The cocktails are great, the food is very creatively put together and has tons of excellent flavors. Great service, and overall a great experience.

This is a very cute space. We sat in the u-shaped banquet towards the back, so it gave us a little privacy. We had a vegetarian and a gluten sensitive diner in our party and both were happy with their options. (GF probably more so since they had gf rolls and the popcorn sundae for dessert!) All of the other people in our party were pleased with their meals; I had the duck confit (minus the Gorgonzola) and it was fantastic. Nice wine selection; not an overwhelming number of choices, but some good ones. Will definitely go back!

I enjoyed our meal and the waiter we had was wonderful, i believe his name was mike. (not 100% sure) he was very polite and great service. Overall great experience and good food.

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The ambience was excellent. We loved our time there. The staff cared about us and one of us to have a wonderful experience and we did.. I will be returning next year.
