Die besten Restaurants mit Comfort Food in Newcastle

Communion makes one feel like one is back home at a family reunion in Louisiana or some Southern Port of Call. The blend of old favorites with new takes on dishes such as Ramen make the menu lively. We loved the lamb, chicken and Big A$$ Shrimp. Desserts are probably wonderful as well, but we simply didn't have room left to sample them. We hope to be back soon to continue to explore Communion's offerings.

Every dish was excellent, but we especially enjoyed the fish curry. We were excited to try the cocktails. My daiquiri was delicious, but we sent back the drink with the brie washed rye. A little too funky for us but the Manhattan that replaced it was perfect.

A lovely neighborhood spot in the Silver Cloud hotel. The food is surprisingly fabulous. It’s quiet and the waiters are friendly and perfect.

Wonderful restaurant, service was amazing and the food was even better. The steak and Grieve’s were perfectly seasoned, a must try in the Kirkland area.

We ate here for dinner and got fish and chips. Chips were just slightly salted but great. My husband got the Reuben which was amazing with the old bay Jojos super good. Server also made me an amazing off menu mocktail. We ended the night so full with sticky toffee pudding which was amazing as well. Service was great. Breakfast was great as well definitely try their biscuits and gravy and their h&h breakfast. I would come back again.
