A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only. Searching for beef Wellington and this was the first place listed when google searching. Since the reviews were positive, we checked it out. Definitely worth it. The beef Wellington was amazing; cooked to a perfect medium rare with a nice crust. To wash it down, they have a nice selection of beer and their old fashioned are perfect. Would definitely visit again.

The food was great and we found out that on Mondays, kids eat free when the adults buy an entree. It was a great night out for me and my family. One of the better dining options for me and my vacationing family. We will definitely be back!

Always a pleasure dining here. Family owned, caring fun staff, excellent quality and tasty food, hand crafted cocktails and excellent beer selection. Christmas is in full effect and so cozy there. Definitely worth a trip to check out if you haven’t been. Great patios with blankets & heat lamps to keep you cozy. Nightly specials and good happy hour too!!

I thought this was like a Hard Rock or another touristy expensive restaurant with average food but it’s actually great. Our server Adam provided perfect friendly service and advice. Perfect professional waiter IMO. Food was good. Happy hour beers were delicious. Our Wednesday burgers specials were delicious. The decor is awesome everywhere you look too!
