Farm Bar is a neighborhood farm-to-table restaurant with locations in Ravenswood and Lakeview. We serve approachable midwestern fair with local, organic ingredients from our own Brown Dog Farm in Mineral Point Wisconsin. We understand that some guests may require a paper menu, and one can be provided with a list of standards items upon request. Riccardo begann seine Karriere in einem sehr jungen Alter in Mailands renommiertem Familienbetrieb „GIRARROSTO“. Danach zog er im Jahr 1982 in die Vereinigten Staaten und eröffnete in Los Angeles das berühmte Sonny Bono. 1987 begann er gemeinsam mit seinem Cousin Roberto Ruggeri (Inhaber von Bice's Venture) zu arbeiten und mit ihm eröffnete er das Bice in New York, Los Angeles und vielen anderen Orten auf der ganzen Welt. Jetzt, nach 3 Jahren als Küchenleiter des Bice in Chicago und zusammen mit seiner Frau (und Souschef) Veronica und seiner Cousine (und Hostess) Barbara beschloss er, seine kulinarische Kunst und Kreativität in seinem nach ihm benannten Restaurant „Riccardo Trattoria“ fortzusetzen. Hier werden durch die Kunstfertigkeit eines italienischen Gourmets Gerichte fast Zen-artiger Essentialität zubereitet, die Riccardos beruflichen und existentiellen Lebensverlauf geprägt hat.
